A wooden plot in which the profit motive is enough to lead executives to infect the global population with a lethal virus so that they can sell them the cure. Nevertheless, as usual, Luflum’s action sequences are almost enough to compensate for this, and for the sequence of improbable character linkages that support the salvation of the planet from the pandemic. The textual equivalent of a B-Grade movie - indeed, it has spawn just such a movie.
